Duc Khai Orphan Centre, where the heart opens widely

Surely it is not for showing off himself, because Mr Pham Ngoc Lam, chairman of Duc Khai

     

Corporation, was so famous by establishing the first Clearance Corporation in Vietnam; the orthopedic hospital constructing in Binh Chanh district or other monumental projects in Phu My Ward, District 7. And no one knew he was secretly to take care of the orphan.

- Duc Khai orphans nurturing and vocational training centre, located in a prime location at the front of Highway 1, with 14.580m2 wide at Tan Duc commune, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province...

- This centre has five functional areas with 21 people, including medical staff, nursery teacher, nanny, psychologist, vocational teacher, chef, security ...; can receive 200 orphans.


- According to Mr Nguyen Hoa, the centre manager: “Most of the items in this centre that suitable for children are imported from Singapore”. This area is divided into two separately houses for girl and boy. Each child was given a wooden bed, a wooden cabinet and a fan...
 

- Since inexperienced in operating and managing social establishments, he studied from Venerable Thich Tri Chon (An Khanh Pagoda, Q.12) how to take care and teach the orphans. For having sufficient knowledge in teaching children, he went to various localities and invited many enthusiastic teachers and medical staffs to work in the centre.

- So that, within a year, 200 orphans will "fill- up" the centre.

  According to Mr Nguyen Hoa, beside accepting the orphan, the centre is carrying out the recruitment with many vacancies, such as:
- 1 Training Manager.
-1 Administration Manager.
- 1 Account Manager.
- 4 Training Teachers
- 2 preschool Teachers
- 1 Nurse
- 1 PR Officer
- And recruitment, account, chef, security,…
